PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a foreign matter from adhering to the component of an image forming apparatus in performing printing with the image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: In the component of the image forming apparatus having at least a core bar, two or more conductive elastic layers provided on the core bar, and a covering layer provided as an outermost layer on the conductive elastic layer, the ratio (DH<SB>0.5</SB>/DH<SB>2</SB>) of dynamic hardness (DH<SB>2</SB>) obtained when the indentation depth of an indenter in a thickness direction from the surface of the covering layer is 2μm to dynamic hardness (DH<SB>0.5</SB>) obtained when it is 0.5μm is set at≥4.0.
