摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for estimating saturated polarization, along with a method for estimating dischargeable capacity, useful for accurately understanding the status of a battery. SOLUTION: A discharge current and a terminal voltage at high-efficient discharging are measured. Based on the measured discharge current and terminal voltage, a secondary approximate expression, which represents polarizing voltage drop, corresponding to the discharge current in the direction of current increase at high-efficient discharging, is acquired. A maximum polarization voltage drop Vpols, in the acquired secondary approximate expression and a discharge current Imax corresponding to the maximum polarizing voltage drop Vpols are acquired. The value of maximum polarization voltage drop Vpols divided by the discharge current Imax, corresponding to the maximum voltage drop Vpols, is multiplied by a maximum current Ip. The polarization voltage drop Vpolp, corresponding to the maximum current Ip in the secondary approximate expression, is added with the product, resulting in a saturation polarization voltage drop.
