PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the separation of a steel plate ring from a concrete pile when driving a friction increasing concrete pile into the ground by reinforcing connection between the steel plate ring and the concrete pile in the friction increasing concrete pile with the steel plate ring wound and fixed to the outer peripheral surface of a tip part. SOLUTION: This friction increasing concrete pile 1 is constituted by providing a large number of protrusions 4 protrusively on the outer peripheral surface formed by curving and welding a comparatively thin-walled strip steel plate 3a, and integrally winding and fixing the steel plate ring 3 provided on its inner peripheral surface with recessed grooves 5 corresponding to the protrusions 4, to the tip part of the concrete pile 2.
