PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of setting the proper ambient temperature around a driver, by correcting a detecting temperature value of an inside air sensor by a factor related to a change in the cabin inside ambient temperature, when controlling an air blowing state from the other blowout port except for a blowout port for a driver's seat. SOLUTION: The air-conditioning temperature is controlled on the basis of the detecting temperature of the inside air sensor 3 by an air-conditioning control means 2. When detecting that an occupant is not seated on a seat except for the driver's seat by an occupant detecting means 8, and when selecting an air-conditioning blowout port selecting means, an air blowing state from the other air-conditioning air blowout port arranged for the seat except for the driver's seat is controlled, and when controlling the air blowing state from the other air-conditioning air blowout port by determining that the occupant is only the driver, the ambient temperature of the driver can be properly expressed by arranging an inside air sensor air-conditioning correcting means 13 for correcting a detecting value of the inside air sensor 3 by the factor related to a change in the cabin inside ambient temperature, and amenity is further improved for the driver by air-conditioning control.
