<p>A spinning process involves guiding a sliver with a small degree of twist (11) from a roving package (12) through a multistage drawing system (13) in which it acquires the required total draft. The resulting prod. is conveyed, after being discharged from the last clamp gap (14) of the drawing system (13), via a preset path (15) and on the periphery of a suction roll (25) as far as a twist blocking gap (16). From the gap (16), the sliver reaches a spinning device (17). The process features a condensn. stage with a suction roll (25) and counter rolls (26, 27) and the path section in which condensn. occurs contains a guide shield (40).</p> |
