<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert an input image into a desired image at high speed in a system where image processing such as format conversion is applied to a video received from a camera or a deck by a personal computer. SOLUTION: The high speed image input conversion device consists of an image reception means 101 that receives an image from an image output device and stores the received image repetitively to reception buffers 1-N sequentially, an access information generating means 102 that generates access information in a reception buffer corresponding to a pixel block consisting of a plurality of pixels in the unit of the buffers, and an image processing means 103 that references the access information, directly reads the pixel block from the reception buffer and applies image processing to the pixel block.</p> |
