PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of separating a document image from a coded image so as to capable of easily applying decode processing to codes. SOLUTION: The image processing system includes: a coding side system 1 for selecting a color including a particular color component related to a prescribed color space and not included in colors used for the document image for a particular color, using the particular color to generate the coded image on the basis of data being an object of coding, composing the coded image with a processing object document and generating a composite document; and a decoding side system 2 for receiving the composite document, extracting the particular color component from the received composite document, separating the coded image from the document image, extracting the coded image, and decoding the extracted coded image to generate data being the coding object.
