PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for correcting a tracking error signal, capable of canceling DC offset generated in a push-pull type tracking error signal without being affected by the reflectance fluctuation of an optical disk in an optical disk device. SOLUTION: The device 100 for correcting the tracking error signal, having an optical head 101 for applying one laser beam to an optical disk and a first optical detector 2 for receiving a spot light from the optical disk by the reflection of the laser beam is provided with a center part light quantity normalizing means 7 for generating a center part light quantity normalizing signal based on a ratio between a total light quantity signal output from the first optical detector 2 and a center part light quantity signal output from a partial optical detector B, and a tracking error signal correction means 9 for correcting a tracking error signal used for tracking the laser beam.
