PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape for cleaning an optical connector superior in cleaning the end face of an optical fiber, and especially superior in reducing reflection loss, and to provide a cleaning device which uses the tape. SOLUTION: In the cleaning device of the optical connector provided with the tape for cleaning the optical fiber end face of the optical connector, the cleaning tape is constituted of cloth, consisting of extra fine fibers of which the single fiber fineness is 1 dtex or smaller and containing an end face processing agent of 1 wt% of smaller for the optical connector in the tape.
