The device has a data transmission mechanism for a transmitter (2), and a data receipt mechanism for a base station (1). The transmitter and the data receipt are effectively connected to the base station by a capacitive transmission circuit (4). An alternating voltage supply (10, 13) is supplied to a base electrode (5) with a carrier signal determining an alternating voltage. The base station and transmitter are electrically additionally connected to the capacitive transmission circuit also by an electrically leading connection (7) and an l-C-resonant circuit. The transmitter modulates a carrier signal with an information signal and is transferred on the transmission circuit. The signal is demodulated from the information signal.
