<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing mucopolysaccharide that contains hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulfate and dermatan sulfate in good balance, can prevent the mucopolysaccharides from unnecessary molecular weight reduction as well as shows excellent taste and storage stability. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing mucopolysaccharides including hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulfate and dermatan sulfate comprises the following steps (a) through (g): step (a) where the protein in the cartilage tissue, skin tissue and small intestinal tissue of swine is denatured or fat is removed; step (b) where swine cartilage tissue, skin tissue and small intestinal tissue are crushed, step (c) where the crushed cartilage tissue, skin tissue and small intestinal tissue are adjusted to the state suitable for enzymatic degradation treatment; step (d) where the crushed swine tissues are enzymatically decomposed by using proteolytic enzyme, lipolytic enzyme and starch degrading enzyme; step (e) where the water-soluble fraction is recovered in the enzymatically decomposed product; step (f) where an adsorbent is added to the water-soluble fraction to effect the adsorption treatment and step (g) where the adsorption-treated product is subjected to the drying treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
