PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimode wireless communication device which is simpler in configuration and is more reducible in manufacture cost than conventional technology with respect to the multimode wireless communication device which is operable on a plurality of wireless communication systems and performs wireless communication by switching a plurality of wireless communication modes. SOLUTION: An A/D converter 2 converts a wireless signal received by an antenna element 1 into a wireless digital signal. A wide-band wireless circuit 9A performs frequency conversion from wireless signals of the plurality of wireless communication systems received by the antenna element 1 to IF signals and a signal processing part 6 performs signal processing corresponding to the plurality of wireless communication systems for the IF signals from the wide-band wireless circuit 9A. A wireless digital signal decision part 3a compares the wireless digital signal with a plurality of reference signals which are stored in a reference signal memory 7 and correspond to the plurality of wireless communication systems to decide which of wireless signals of the wireless communication systems the received wireless signal is, and outputs information on the decided wireless communication system to the signal processing part 6. The signal processing part 6 performs signal processing corresponding to the decided wireless communication system for the IF signals outputted from the wide-band wireless circuit 9A.
