PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal cabinet of good appearance by preventing wiring or inner parts from being damaged by burr, and by eliminating, from the appearance, recesses or the like which are caused in making sheet metal, and to realize fitting and conduction between an upper and a lower cabinets by providing a simple structure. SOLUTION: Inner cabinets 9A, 9B for positioning and fixing electronic parts are formed by using a high R-value steel plate, with all bosses 13, bases 15 or the like being formed by drawing. Such recesses formed by drawing are covered with an outer cover cabinet 3 and outer base cabinets 5A, 5B. In the state where the inner cabinet 9B is attached to the outer base cabinet 5B, the fitting surface 17B of the inner cabinet 9B is allowed to protrude from the end 19 of the uprising side 6B of the inner cabinet 9B. The region of the protrusion width X of the fitting surface 17B is allowed to engage with and fitted to the inner surface (non-coated surface) of the outer cover cabinet 3.
