<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a practical water-soluble type skin lotion and skin coating agent containing a tea polyphenol as a main agent, capable of suppressing discoloration by oxidation and withstanding long-term storage, and to obtain a bathing agent being readily produceable and conveniently useable and not polluting bathtubs. <P>SOLUTION: An aqueous solution containing high-purity green tea polyphenol recently begun to be supplied for medical purpose and ascorbic acid is hermetically sealed in a PET (polyethylene telephthalate) bottle and stored. When the aqueous solution is used as the skin coating liquid, e.g. green tea polyphenol concentration is adjusted to 25 ppm and ascorbic acid concentration is adjusted to 2 ppm. When the aqueous solution is used as the bathing agent, the green tea polyphenol concentration is e.g. adjusted to about 1.0 wt.% and pH of the aqueous solution is kept to 3.0-5.0 by adding sodium ascorbate thereto and adjusting a ratio of sodium ascorbate to ascorbic acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
