PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulfur dispersion for rubber crosslinking which enables uniform crosslinking to a non-crosslinked rubber. SOLUTION: The sulfur dispersion for rubber crosslinking comprises an elemental sulfur and/or a sulfur compound in an amount of 1-50 wt%. This sulfur dispersion for rubber crosslinking can be used to uniformly coat a crosslinking agent on the surface of an uncrosslinked rubber with a simple device such as a brush, a spray or a roll. Heating of the coated uncrosslinked rubber allows the whole uncrosslinked rubber to be uniformly crosslinked. Therefore, the conventionally-required time for kneading a crosslinking agent into an uncrosslinked rubber is omissible, which enables more efficient production of a rubber product to be achieved in a continuous crosslinking process from molding to crosslinking of the uncrosslinked rubber. Further, this dispersion for rubber crosslinking can provide a rubber product with excellent properties, since a crosslinking structure which is uniform not only on the surface but also into the inside thereof can be formed by uniformly coating the crosslinking agent on the surface of the uncrosslinked rubber and heating it. This sulfur dispersion for rubber crosslinking has excellent dispersibility and storage stability. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
