<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous detection of a person sensor caused by sticking of a waterdrop in a person detecting device and an on-vehicle apparatus control device. <P>SOLUTION: A door outer handle 16 of a vehicle is provided with the person sensor 12 for detecting whether or not a person touches. When discriminating that the person touches the door outer handle 16 by using the person sensor 12, a locked vehicle door 14 is unlocked, and the vehicle door 14 existing in a full closing position is opened up to a full opening position. Discrimination is made on whether or not a predetermined quantity or more of waterdrops stick to a car body by using a rain sensor 30 arranged on front windshield glass 32. When discriminating that the waterdrop sticks by using the rain sensor 30, a threshold value for discriminating whether or not the person touches the door outer handle 16 by using the person sensor 12, is changed to a value different from a case of not sticking the waterdrop. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
