PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration or noise by enabling control of electromagnetic vibration on the side of a motor, in the constitution of the so-called base integrated type where the dynamic pressure bearing of the spindle motor is fixed directly to a base. SOLUTION: The spindle motor 52 is constituted in such a way that the dynamic pressure bearing 4 is attached directly to the base 58 of a recording disk drive, and it is equipped with the above dynamic pressure bearing 4, a stator 6, and a rotor magnet 7. The dynamic pressure bearing 4 has a rotating member 3 and a sleeve 11 which rotatably supports it. The rotor magnet 7 generates a rotating magnetic field in cooperation with the stator 6, being so fixed to the rotating member 3 as to oppose the stator 6. The spindle motor 52 is further equipped with an annular bush member 13 which is arranged between a sleeve 11 and the base 58 so as to absorb the vibration from the sleeve 11 to the base 58.
