PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilizer composition for chlorine-containing resins, which can impart thermal stability to the chlorine-containing resins for long periods, does not cause initial discoloration, and can improve foaming phenomena during the processing of the resins, and to provide a chlorine-containing resin composition containing the same. SOLUTION: This chlorine-containing resin composition is characterized by containing an aluminosilicate replaced by Zn ion and hydrocalumite represented by the general formula (1): 3CaO-Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-CaX<SB>2/m</SB>-nH<SB>2</SB>O (1) [X is a monovalent or divalent anion; (m) is the valency of the anion; (n)≤20] as active ingredients.
