PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor earthquake-proof shelter which secures both sufficient rigidity and a wide entrance, and has a long service life. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the indoor earthquake-proof shelter, frame members 1, 1a constituting a frame structure of the indoor earthquake-proof shelter are each formed of a square pipe member which has fiber reinforced sheets 3 bonded to four inner surfaces thereof over the entire length, and therefore the shelter secures both the sufficient rigidity and the wide entrance. Further the fiber reinforced sheets 3 as reinforcing members are kept from making contact with persons or objects, and therefore the shelter achieves the long service life.
