PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interchangeable magnetic disk system in which a high density recording property is improved and which has high performance and high reliability, and which is inexpensive. SOLUTION: In the interchangeable magnetic disk medium consisting of a flexible disk in which a magnetic layer is formed at at least one side of plane of a flexible holder and a magnetic head performing recording and reproducing of a magnetic signal for the medium, the magnetic disk system is characterized in that it is mounted on a negative pressure type slider in which a positive pressure generating part is formed at a air flow-in end part and a negative pressure generating part is formed at an air flow-out end side.
