PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash lower frame harmonized with an upper rail, stiles, and a sliding screen while substantially making a sill surface smooth. SOLUTION: In this sash lower frame forming a frame body 1 in which indoor and outdoor sliding screens 2 and 3 are finished so as to be transferable and the upper surface thereof is substantially smoothened, an inner transferable part 14a allowing the indoor sliding screen 2 to transfer is formed on the upper surface of the lower frame 10. The indoor side of the inner transferable part 14a is covered with a resin cover body 12, an outer transferable part 14b allowing the outdoor sliding door 3 to transfer is formed on the upper surface of the sill, a horizontal part 21 is formed on the indoor side of the outer transferable part 14b, and the horizontal part 21 is coated with a resin covering member 22 formed of a resin material.
