PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes dryer which can sense the clogging of a filter arranged on a circulation route of drying air and issue a clogging alarm. SOLUTION: The temperature of hot air which is heated and fed by a heater 20 is detected, and when the temperature of the hot air reaches a specified temperature within a specified period of time from the start of the operation, the occurrence of the clogging of the filter is recognized. Then, the clogging alarm is issued provided that the operation until then has continued number of times operations in which the completion of drying by a drying degree sensing cannot be sensed within a predetermined operation time.
