PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescope with which a subject at the same viewing angle as that for an observed image is photographed, and also to provide a telescope main body and an electronic view finder device. SOLUTION: The terrestrial telescope main body 1 has: a lens barrel 12 incorporating an objective optical system; a focusing means having a focusing ring 32 operated in the case of focusing and a focus lens moving in an optical axis direction by the operation of the ring 32; and a housing 13 incorporating an imaging device for picking up a subject image formed through the objective optical system and the focus lens. A terrestrial telescope 10 is equipped with the terrestrial telescope main body 1 and the electronic view finder device 7 freely attachably/detachably attached to the main body 1 and having a display element displaying the image picked up by the imaging device as a moving picture in real time.
