Inclusion compounds of amines in bisphenols are prepared by dissolving the bisphenol in toluene or Stoddard solvent, adding the amine and chilling the mixture to precipitate the inclusion compound. Inclusive compounds of amines in urea are prepared by dissolving urea in methanol, leaving overnight, adding the amine and leaving overnight to precipitate the inclusion compound. Specified bisphenols are p,p1 - isopropylidenediphenol and its tetrachlorosubstitute product; 4,41-thio-bis-(6-tert.-butyl - m - cresol) and 4,41 - butylidene - bis-(6-tert.-butyl - m - cresol). Specified amines for bisphenol inclusion compounds are isopropyl-, isobutyl-, iso-octyl-, n-decyl-, diethyl-, di-n-propyl-, tri-butyl-, and cyclohexylamine, mono-, di- and tri-ethanolamine, N-methyl ethanolamine, N-methyl diethanolamine and isopropanolamine, ethylene and propylene diamine, dimethylaminopropylamine, aminobispropylamine, 2 - amino - 1 - butanol, 2 - amino - 2 -ethyl - 1,3 - propanediol, tetra - methyl - guanidine and hydroxyethyldiethylenetriamine.
