<p>A rail system for conveying assemblies comprises a plurality of pairs of interspaced sliding rails (15, 17) arranged mutually perpendicular to form a closed square, drive shafts (3) parallel to the sliding rails (15, 17), and a plurality of workpiece supports (2) mounted on the sliding rails (15, 17). The drive shafts (3) are arranged between the sliding rails (15, 17) and slightly off-centre toward the outer rail (17), and the workpiece supports (2) have a frictional wheel arrangement centrally symmetric about the centre of the workpiece supports (2). Said arrangement consists of at least one frictional wheel unit (4, 5, 6, 7) set at an angle to the drive shaft (3), on which it acts.</p> |
