<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the variation of the toner concentration of developer in a container provided for every color in an image forming apparatus which forms a color image by superposing a plurality of color toner images on a transfer medium. <P>SOLUTION: Squeezing rollers 81 to 83 are arranged to be opposed for every color on an intermediate transfer belt 41, and are disposed to move back and forth between a contact position where they come into contact with the developer on the belt 41 and a separate position where they do not come into contact with the developer. The respective color squeezing rollers 81 to 83 are arranged at the contact position to peel liquid carrier adhering to the respective color toner images from the belt 41. The peeled liquid carrier is removed by a cleaning blade 84 and recovered by a tray 85, and restored to a tank 33 provided for every color via a piping 86. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
