PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure which facilitates execution, enables application of top coating immediately after execution and prevents cracks from occurring on the surface regardless of the expansion/shrinkage of exterior boards due to the difference in temperature leading to a change in the joint width, and to provide a joint member and a joint treating apparatus used for the execution work of the joint structure and a joint treating method for executing the joint structure. SOLUTION: In the joint structure between the external wall boards 42-1 of a building to which a plurality of the external wall boards 42-1 are fitted, an elastic hot-melt adhesive agent layer 52 is applied to the side edge parts of the two adjacent external wall boards 42-1 so as to cover the joint M (N) between the two external wall boards 42-1.
