PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound waveform formation method and the device capable of correcting a pitch so as to be stabilized in the case that the pitch of a musical sound waveform to be stored is instable and obtaining a natural musical sound waveform. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a pitch extraction device 1 for extracting the pitch of an original waveform, an average value calculation device 2 for obtaining the average value of the pitch, a frequency ratio calculation device 3 for obtaining the reciprocal of the ratio of the extraction pitch of the waveform to an average pitch as a frequency ratio from the average value and the extraction pitch of the original waveform, a frequency ratio correction device 4 for correcting the frequency ratio so as to gradually turn the pitch of an output waveform from an original value to the average pitch and a pitch correction device 5 for calculating the read address interval of the waveform for respective sampling intervals based on the corrected frequency ratio, obtaining the read address of the waveform by accumulating it and generating a pitch corrected waveform based on the calculated address. |
