PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector for the collar of a garment, which can also be attached to a hanger hung on a pipe. SOLUTION: The protector 3 for the collar is attached to the hanger 1 for protecting the collar 2a of the garment 2 which is hung on the hanger 1. The protector 3 for the collar is provided with a protector body 4 which prevents each of the collars 2a of the tightly squeezed garments 2 from being flattened and a mounting part 5 for attaching the protector body 4 to the hanger 1. In this case, the mounting part 5 is provided with a through hole 5a into which the base end of a suspended hook 1a is inserted and a communicating part 5b which makes the through hole 5a communicate with the outside of the mounting part 5.
