PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device of a liquefied gas engine for stably injecting fuel in a liquefied state into a cylinder of the engine even under a high temperature condition. SOLUTION: The fuel supply device of the liquefied gas engine is constructed so that the fuel introduced from a fuel tank 1 is pressurized by a high pressure pump 4, is accumulated in a common rail 5, is introduced from the common rail 5 to an injector 7 at a cylinder top and is injected into a combustion chamber 8. A heat-exchangeable purge tank 2 is equipped in a line 17 from the fuel tank 1 to the high pump 4. The purge tank 21 is constructed so that high temperature fuel is returned and vaporized and fuel supplied to the high pressure pump 4 is cooled by the latent heat of vaporization of the high temperature fuel. This prevents vaporization of fuel directed to the engine and allows stable injection in the liquefied state into the engine cylinder. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
