The invention relates to the agricultural machinery industry, in particular to boom sprayers, equipped with devices for boom section fixation in folded position. The boom sprayer contains, horizontally placed onto a frame, a central section, intermediate sections, symmetrically placed and joined therewith by means of an articulation, the axes of which are placed inclined about the axis of symmetry, and marginal sections, symmetrically placed and joined with the intermediate ones, manually folded in transport position, stops, fixed onto the intermediate sections for retention of the marginal lateral sections in folded position, and, mounted onto the frame of the central section, a stopper device for retention of the intermediate sections in folded position. The stopper device includes, rigidly fixed onto the frame of the central section, a vertical support, and fastened thereto by means of a bracket, a vertically placed thrust plate, to which with its face there is fixed a rod, the free end of which is coupled by a threaded connection with a turning head, provided with handle. The rod is freely installed into a bush, to which there is rigidly mounted a thrust bar, the axis of which is perpendicular to the axis of the bush, and to the rod from the end of the thrust plate there is rigidly fastened a guide element in the form of pin, freely placed into the longitudinal groove, made into the wall of the bush. The stopper device contains a cylindrical compression spring, placed into the bush between its base and the rod face. The longitudinal bars of the intermediate sections frames in folded position are placed between the thrust plate and the thrust bar of the stopper device. Onto the thrust plate of the stopper device from the end of placement of the longitudinal bars of the intermediate sections there is fixed a kicking strap.
