Europium activated cesium bromide phosphor and radiation image storage sheet

摘要

An europium activated cesium bromide phosphor having the formula of CsBr:xEu [0E) of Eu²⁺ and a coloring intensity (I_P) at F(Br^-) center satisfies the condition of 0.2<=I_ExI_F, and/or in which a ratio of Eu²⁺ to Eu³⁺ contained in the phosphor in terms of emission intensity satisfies the condition of 5x10^-5<=EU³⁺/Eu²⁺<=0.1 gives an increased stimulated emission amount and is favorably employed for producing a radiation image storage sheet.
