<p>The invention relates to a self-aligning roller device for holding twist drills with a view to sharpening the same. According to the invention, the device comprises two prisms (1 and 2) which are laterally guided whithin a frame (3) and are simultaneously placed by means of a left- and right-threaded screw (4), the position of the prisms (1 and 2) being adjusted by means of some nuts (5) and the screw (4) being driven by means of a hand wheel (6), after sharpening one of the drill bits (10) the mechanism being rotated with 180 by unlocking some screws (8 and 9) and rolling the same, by using some rollers (a, b, c and d), on a supporting frame (7) integral with a rail (11), and finally re-locking with the screws (8 and 9).</p> |
