Polyethers and the use thereof as carrier oils

Polyethers that can be obtained from 1-butene oxide and from an alcohol while using a double metal cyanide compound as a catalyst is disclosed, wherein the content of unsaturated component is from 7 mol% to 50 mol%. Also disclosed is a method for producing a polyether of this type, and the use of these polyethers as carrier oil or in a carrier oil formulation, particularly in additive packets for gasoline fuels.
