PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter lifting prevention structure which protects a shutter in a closed position from being lifted even if an outsider tries to forcedly lift a shutter curtain by inserting a tool such as a crowbar from below a lower surface of a seat plate, to thereby positively exert a crime preventive effect. SOLUTION: According to the shutter lifting prevention structure, a fixture 5 is attached to the inside or outside of each guide rail 4, and engaging claws 6 are formed on an indoor side plate 5b of the fixture so as not to protrude into a guide groove 4d. Thus when the shutter curtain is lifted, a curtain piece (a slat 1a, a hollow slat 1a', or a pipe 1a") is bent and pressed in interlock with the lifting, and therefore an indoor or outdoor side plate 4b or 4c of the guide rail 4 is expanded, which leads to engagement of the slat piece with the engaging claw 6, whereby lifting of the shutter curtain is inhibited.
