PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fender structure for an automobile capable of improving an appearance and maintaining cleanliness of a vehicle body by facilitating connection and separation without burden to independently separate an upper wheel arch cover at the time of operating a tractor. SOLUTION: In this fender structure for an automobile, rails are integrally formed on both side faces of upper wheel arch covers 10a, 10b, and rail holders 13 coupled with rails 12 are integrally formed on inside faces of lower wheel arc covers 11a, 11b, so that fixing means fastened and fixed to each other are mounted at tip ends of the upper wheel covers. Also, the fixing means are a plurality of studs 14 and retainers 15 arranged at equal intervals on a face contacting the upper wheel arch covers. Step parts 16 coming into close contact with each other in a constant section are formed at one tip end of the upper wheel arch covers, in a manner that abutting faces at both tip ends correspond to each other.
