PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relationship detecting system for grasping the relationship such as " like " or " dislike " between a plurality of mutual constituting members. SOLUTION: This relationship detecting system 10 includes a communication robot 12 as an approaching device for approaching the constituting members. For example, a radio tag 14 and an infrared LED tag 16 are respectively installed on the plurality of constituting members A, B, C, etc. in an organization. When the constituting member approaches and enters a predetermined area for communicating with the robot 12, respective identification information are respectively acquired by a radio tag reader and an infrared camera 44 arranged in the robot 12, to record a history of behavior in such a predetermined area. The history of this behavior is reflected by the relationship between the constituting members such as mutual well-wishers stay simultaneously. The relationship between the respective constituting members is grasped from a coexistent method with the other persons of the constituting members on the basis of this behavior history.
