METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING KNOBBED GLASS OR GLASS-CERAMIC PLATE, KNOBBED PLATE MANUFACTURED BY THE METHOD AND MOLDING DIE TO MANUFACTURE THE PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rapid method for manufacturing a glass- or glass-ceramic plate where a lot of recessed parts or cavities having optionally selected shapes are formed, a knobbed glass plate and its manufacturing method and a molding die to manufacture the knobbed glass plate.

SOLUTION: The glass- or glass-ceramic plate with a lot of knobs is manufactured by the method comprised of a step to place the glass- or glass-ceramic plate on a support body where knobbed protruding parts and/or recesses are prepared, a step to heat the plate and the support body simultaneously to the temperature higher than the transition temperature of the glass- or glass-ceramic plate and a successive step to cool the plate to a room temperature.
