PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for lining a butterfly valve with rubber capable of certainly applying rubber lining to the inner peripheral surface of a valve box at a predetermined position without damaging the inner peripheral surface or powder coated surface of the valve box. SOLUTION: The mold 32 for rubber lining is used when the rubber lining 31 is applied to a part of the inner peripheral surface of the butterfly valve to which powder coating is applied. In this case, ring-shaped seal materials 40 and 43 comprising a material having a larger coefficient of thermal expansion than that of the metal constituting the mold and a small coefficient of friction with respect to the inner peripheral surface of the valve box, e.g. a fluororesin, are arranged to the outer periphery of the mold inserted in the valve box 13 of the butterfly valve, at the boundary position of the surface to which the lining is applied and the surface to which the lining is not applied in the inner periphery of the valve box.
