<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anaerobic contact digester in which drawing-out of sludge on packed filter medium is facilitated, and an operation method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: In this anaerobic contact digester, a second filter medium block 8 is disposed on a first filter medium block 7 composed of a plurality of anaerobic contact filter mediums. In the second filter medium block, a plurality of members each spreading in the horizontal direction, having an upper surface form causing no retention of sludge, and having a form of crushing sludge floating up from the bottom, are disposed in a plurality of stages with such spaces that adjacent members are not superposed in the horizontal direction, and the faces of the members in a plan view are superposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
