PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a console box for a vehicle capable of placing an article in a change box, a tray, etc. provided in front or rear or on the side of a box body without placing the article on a cover body when possible, capable of storing a lengthy article such as a map, a document, etc. and convenient to use. SOLUTION: This console box for the vehicle is constituted by providing a second cover body to cover a recessed part formed on the front wall of the box body, making the change box by forming a saucer part inside the second cover body or making a cup holder by forming a recessed part to open upward on a rear part of the box body or forming a pocket to open upward by forming second side walls at a specified interval on the outside of the side wall of the box body or continuously providing a tray to extend toward the outside from at least one of the side walls of the box body on the side wall.
