PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based adhesive effect extending agent to develop a water-based adhesive standing its long-term use. SOLUTION: The water-based adhesive effect extending agent consists mainly of a water-based urethane resin agent. A method for extending the effect of a water-based adhesive is provided, comprising coating an object with the water-based adhesive followed by coating the water-based adhesive with this agent.
