BEAUVERIOLIDE DERIVATIVES

摘要

Beauveriolide derivatives having a novel structure, which show an effect of selectively inhibiting cholesteryl ester in macrophages, an effect of inhibiting both of the formation of cholesteryl ester and the formation of tricylglycerol, an effect of inhibiting the activity of acyl coenzyme A cholesterol transacylase, an effect of potentiating the activity of an azole fungicide, an effect of potentiating the imipenem activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, and an activity of inhibiting HIV syncytium formation, are expected as being useful as preventives and remedies for hyperlipemia and arteriosclerosis based on it, fungal infection and infection induced by multidrug-resistant strains, anti-HIV agents, and so on.
