<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel hybrid vehicle for providing sufficient regenerative electric power without requiring two clutches. <P>SOLUTION: Motor/generator torque T<SB>M/G</SB>is increased by increasing a load of an engine in speed reduction by an auxiliary machine such as a compressor for an air conditioner, a generator and a frictional brake arranged in series to an engine. The regenerative electric power of a motor/generator 2 is increased by increasing a motor/generator rotating speed N<SB>M/G</SB>by releasing fastening by a lockup clutch 36 of the engine 1 and the motor/generator 2 connected via a differential device 3. When a load increase quantity of the engine can be controlled, the regenerative electric power is increased by increasing the motor/generator rotating speed N<SB>M/G</SB>by minimizing an engine speed N<SB>E</SB>while providing required deceleration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
