<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector not restrained by a connector jig at its mounting on a printed circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: A conductive through-hole 15 of the printed circuit board 11 and a terminal pass-through hole 35 of a connector housing 31 are aligned to each other. A press fit terminal 23 is press fitted into the through-hole 15 of the printed circuit board 11 while the press fit terminal is guided by the terminal pass-through hole 35 of the connector housing 31, at which time, the press fit terminal 23 is press fitted from its tip part by pressing the base end part of the press fit terminal 23.
