PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nib for forging die with which a case for pressing in and holding the nib into a holding hole in the forging die can sufficiently be prevented from being damaged by the concentration of stress caused by movement of fluid material at the forming time. SOLUTION: The nib body 16 pressed-in and held into the holding hole 12 arranged in the case 11 for forging die is constituted by annually assembling nib constituting pieces 17-22 having the same diameter. Further, each of these nib constituting pieces 17-22 is respectively divided into the constituting piece upper part 15a-22a and the constituting piece lower part 17b-22b with an inclined cutting-off surface Q1-Q6 formed as a prescribed angle on the way of the axial line direction of the formed hole 23 surroundingly formed with each of the nib constituting pieces 17-22. Therefore, the case 11 for forging die can sufficiently avoid the concentration of the stress caused by movement of the fluid material from the nib body 16 side at the forge-forming time.
