PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device in a composite electronic apparatus, where arrangement in which medium insertion slots of respective system units (optical-disk recording/reproducing unit and video-cassette recording/reproducing unit) having approximately same height is considered, and when a control circuit board of an operation button is connected to a device unit using FFC, arrangement of other components is not adversely affected even if the FFC is folded, and wiring can be made in a limited space. SOLUTION: In the composite electronic apparatus, to transmit an operational signal from an operation button on an optical-disk recording/reproducing unit to an operation control circuit on a control circuit board of the unit, connection is made between the unit and a control circuit board 62 below the unit that is between a connector A disposed at the front of a device on the board 62 and a connector B on a control circuit board 36 of an operation button using a flexible flat cable 100 folded in a Z shape with a mountain fold 101 and a valley fold 102.
