PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic which uses a barley Shochu (Japanese distilled spirit) distillation residual liquid by-produced on the production of the Shochu using barley as a raw material, has excellent characteristics, and has versatility. SOLUTION: This non-alcoholic cosmetic comprises a non-adsorbed fraction which is fractionated by subjecting the barley Shochu distillation residual liquid by-produced on the production of the Shochu using barley to a solid-liquid separation treatment to obtain a liquid fraction, and then subjecting the liquid fraction to an adsorption separation treatment using a synthetic adsorbing agent, and has a free amino acid composition comprising 20 to 25% of proline, 12 to 18% of alanine, 11 to 17% of leucine, 10 to 17% of arginine, and 13 to 18% of glutamic acid.
