PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide greening material comprising a biodegradable resin emulsion or its powder causing no load on the environment because of being biologically decomposed, and utilized in greening construction by being formulated with seeds, fertilizer, or the like. SOLUTION: This greening material comprises the following: the biodegradable resin emulsion obtained by seed polymerization of vinyl acetate in the presence of a biodegradable resin emulsion, or the biodegradable resin emulsion obtained by emulsifying a material obtained by dissolving a biodegradable resin in vinyl acetate and subjecting the material to emulsion polymerization while dropping the material in a water solution containing an emulsifier; or powder of the emulsion.
