<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit for protecting a power switch, when a battery is connected in reverse. <P>SOLUTION: The power switch 10 includes a MOSFET having a body diode 10A. The MOSFET is connected in series with a load 20. The circuit includes a terminal, which can be normally connected respectively to a positive VDD and a negative VSS of the battery connected to the circuit.
